My Step Counter

Position
- Remove the plastic covering the 10K-A-Day logo. Push the clip all the way down on your waistband, directly in line with your kneecap. (Image 1)
- Keep step counter level and vertical. If tilted forward or backward, it will not count correctly. (Image 2)
Adjustment
- With the step counter clipped to your waist, open the lid and press the RESET button. (Image 3)
- Close the lid and walk 100 steps. Your step counter should show 95-105. If not, reposition on the other side and count 100 steps again. Adjust the position on your waistband until the reading show 95-105 for 100 steps. (Image 4)
- Maintain a steady, even pace for the most accurate reading.
Battery
- To replace battery, insert a penny into the slot on the bottom edge of the step counter and pry off the cover. Protect the electronics by removing the cover only to replace battery.
